All area child care providers are welcome to attend the FREE Child Care Provider Quarterly Professional Development Series. Attendees will receive two credit towards annual recertification requirements.

Topic: Early Childhood Screening: A Guide for Childcare Providers
Description: This training will familiarize childcare providers with the various screenings available for young children in their care to include the ASQ:3 Developmental Screening and the CDC Developmental Milestones Checklist. Participants will receive information on vision, hearing and dental screenings and where to access these screenings locally. Finally, the presentation will educate providers on the appropriate course of action for concerns with a child's development.
There will also be a prize drawing for attendees that evening. This is a wonderful opportunity for child care providers to connect with fellow professionals and build strong networks.
