Sarah Wasinger

Sarah Wasinger, President/CEO, Drives The Chamber in Hays, Kansas' advocacy efforts throughout the year with a focus on creating positive change for quality of life for all Ellis County residents. She facilitates the Child Care Task Force of Ellis County and the Ellis County Workforce Committee and has served as a facilitator of Leadership Hays since 2021. Wasinger is a 2006 graduate from Fort Hays State University with a B.S. in Business Administration and Certificate in Leadership Studies. She has completed the three-step path through the Kansas Leadership Center, has attended the Dale Carnegie Human Relations Principles course, and is a 2024 alumna of Leadership Kansas. Wasinger currently serves as the Treasurer for the Chamber of Commerce Executives of Kansas Board of Directors, is the Vice President of The Arc of Central Plains Board of Directors, board member for the Kiwanis Club of Hays, and is a founding member of Imagine Ellis County. She is currently finishing her third year training with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Institute for Organization Management.
