Chamber of Commerce Executives of Kansas
- President/CEO Sarah Wasinger currently serves on the board of directors as chair-elect and will step into the role of chair in October 2026.
- Partnering chamber of commerce for Chamber Solutions, a statewide healthcare plan that makes access to health insurance more affordable for businesses of all sizes through Aetna.
- Staff participate in the annual conference with other chamber professionals across the state and communicate the success stories of Hays and Ellis County.

Kansas Office of Early Childhood
- President/CEO Sarah Wasinger served on the KOEC Advisory Group appointed by Governor Laura Kelly's office, which merged several state agencies together to streamline early childhood services across Kansas.

- The Chamber hosts Legislative Coffees two to three times a year, depending on the legislative session.
- Generally hosted on a Saturuday morning at Hays Public Library from 8:30 to 10 a.m., Kansas senators and representatives from local districts attend and provide updates on the committees they serve and pending legislation.
