Please save the dates for our upcoming Child Care Provider Professional Develpment Workshops for 2026!

All events are free to attend and include a complimentary meal. Providers have the opportunity to network with other professionals while receiving credit towards their annual certification requirements.

    • Topic: Better Brains for Babies
    • Learning Objectives: Better Brains for Babies is a research-based educational program from the University of Georgia Cooperative Extension that K-State Extension has partnered with to bring to Kansas.  The program is an awareness and education initiative aimed at parents, caregivers, and early-childhood professionals that highlights how early brain development occurs and what supports it.  We will explore how neuroscience and early childhood development intersect to guide best practices and environments that promote healthy brain wiring in infants and young children.
