Ellis County Wellness Committee

The Ellis County Wellness Committee was created in the fall of 2025. Its mission is to promote a culture of lifelong wellness across Ellis County by supporting healthy lifestyles and empower workplaces to strengthren our community. This group meets on the second Thursday of most months at 9 a.m. at the Welcome Center at 2700 Vine St., unless otherwise noted on The Chamber's event calendar. All are welcome to attend!

Its Mission: Promote a culture of lifelong wellness across Ellis County by supporting healthy lifestyles and empowering workplaces to strengthen our community.

The Goals: 

• Create central location for wellness resources on The Chamber’s website
• Create a wellness program that incentivizes employees to live healthier lives
• Retain employees and residents
• Create a welcoming environment for new residents
