Delanee Bedore
Event & Program Coordinator
Delanee Bedore, Event & Program Coordinator, oversees the planning and execution of The Chamber in Hays, Kansas' signature events and programs. She coordinates Leadership Hays, Hays Young Professionals, Chamber events, and educational programming while supporting initiatives that connect businesses, leaders, and community members throughout Ellis County. Individuals interested in Chamber programs, event participation, sponsorship opportunities, or opportunities to engage in leadership and professional development are encouraged to connect with her.
Delanee is a 2026 graduate of Fort Hays State University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Tourism & Hospitality Management along with a Social Media Marketing Certificate. She is currently pursuing a Master of Liberal Studies in Corporate Communication.
She is the recipient of the Tourism & Hospitality Outstanding Student Award and has extensive experience planning and executing events through Fort Hays State University, including the Tourism Trot 5K fundraiser. She has also assisted with campus, hospitality, and community events throughout the region.
Bedore is a member of Women Who Lead, the American Hotel & Lodging Association, and the Travel Industry Association of Kansas. Her community involvement includes volunteering with the Walk to End Alzheimer's, the Kansas Association for Youth Leadership, FHSU Welcome Weekend, and various local nonprofit and fundraising events.
She has also completed the Kansas Leadership Center Student Program and is passionate about creating meaningful experiences that strengthen connections throughout the Hays community.
