I am incredibly thankful for everything The Chamber has done for me throughout my internship. Sarah, Leigh, and Isaiah have not only welcomed me into a professional office environment but have also helped me grow both personally and professionally. They encouraged me to step outside my comfort zone by taking me to Ribbon Cuttings, Chamber Chats, and other community events, where I had the opportunity to connect with Ambassadors, HYP members, and local business owners. As a 17–18-year-old, those experiences were invaluable and gave me confidence in professional settings. They also taught me skills that can only be learned through hands-on experience, including communication, economic development, event planning, and teamwork. I am truly grateful for their guidance and support, which has prepared me for college and the opportunities that lie ahead.
