Mission: The Chamber facilitates collaboration among businesses and community partners by cultivating and enhancing development opportunities.
The Vice President of Marketing and Communications answers directly to the President/CEO, and as such will carry out the functions and responsibilities as directed by the President/CEO. The President/CEO will have a wide scope of authority in assigning various tasks to the Vice President of Marketing and Communications. This is a full-time, on-site position.
Writing and design for Chamber publications, including digital monthly newsletter, weekly email news blasts, event text notifications, advertisements, brochures, forms, and other materials as needed
Produce all Chamber social media platforms and content, including, but not limited to: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube
Attend as well as assist in organizing, photographing, video recording, and coordinating of details for ongoing activities, special events, programs, and projects
Maintain The Chamber’s website
Gather and distribute communication among membership, Ambassadors, and Hays Young Professionals
Write and design annual Community Guide through collaboration with partnering agencies
Proficient in: Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Adobe Suite and willingness to learn other software as needed with appropriate training, including video editing software
Other duties as deemed necessary to accomplish The Chamber’s mission.
