Requirements:
- Complete written application, interview, and all mandatory screenings/trainings
- Ability to keep clients and court information confidential
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
- Ability to maintain objectivity and advocate for the best interests of the child at all times
* One year minimum commitment required *
Duties:
- Complete 30 hours of pre-service training
- Maintain regular contact with the child, at least twice per month
- Communicate with child's parents, social workers, foster parents, court services officers, the child, and any other involved parties
- Attend all court hearings and case planning conferences
- Complete a Report to the Court before any hearings with guidance of the Executive Director of CASA
