Work as an employee of an independent advisor franchisee with a financial advisory practice of Ameriprise Financial. Assist in daily business operations.br / br / The paraplanner will primarily assist financial advisor(s) and associate financial advisor(s) in the financial planning workflow. This position will consistently follow high standards of business and professional ethics and legal and regulatory requirements when dealing with others and/or performing work activities.br / br / This role provides client relationship support through managing, gathering and analyzing client data, helping prepare preliminary financial plans and other client deliverables, working with clients to resolve issues and other practice management tasks as needed. Responds to ad hoc requests, coordinates/tracks projects and/or manages business-as-usual projects such as organizing a client seminar.br / br / Responsibilities and Time Allocation ndash; Will change over time to meet the needs of the practice and can include other duties as assigned by the advisor.br / br / bull; Prepare preliminary financial planning recommendations and initial product solutions for advisor review and use in client meetingsbr / bull; Prepare charts, graphs, tables and other visual aids to be used in implementation meetings with clientsbr / bull; Develop portfolio/robust product solution recommendations that will fit the clientrsquo;s risk tolerance and time frame as well as develop appropriate product deliverablesbr / bull; Maintain client contact during the financial planning process. Assist in daily business operations.br / br / This position completes tasks previously performed by the advisor, allowing the advisor to focus more time and energy on client acquisition and deepening client relationships. The administrative assistant supports the many different tasks for which the practice is responsible and ties directly to the overall business plan of the practice. The administrative assistant allows the advisor the assurance he/she needs to know that his/her practice is being maintained and supported within Ameriprise Financial guidelines.br / br / This role provides administrative support by scheduling meetings, preparing presentations, preparing client communications and tracking new business correspondence.
