strongPOSITION SUMMARY/strongbr / This position provides professional counseling services, both in-person and virtually via Doxy.me to clients served by the Hays-area office, approximately 20 hours per week.br / br / strongESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES/strongbr / 1. Therapy Dutiesbr / nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;bull; Counseling Sessions - Provide therapy (whether in-person or remotely) to clients individually and in group settings, research diagnosis and appropriate therapy techniques.br / nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;bull; File and Case Management - Prepare and maintain client records in accordance with HIPAA and all applicable laws; complete case notes; return client calls; schedule appointments; attend department and weekly staff meetings; manage client payments and billing per agency procedures.br / nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;bull; Data Entry - Input client data into CharityTracker and/or other programs as required for reports and grants; run reports as needed; assist with any grant reporting and grant requests as requested.br / nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;bull; Administrative Functions - Attend agency trainings; maintain appropriate licensing for the State of Kansas; assist with creation and modification of counseling procedures; assist with other general office functions, including but not limited to phone calls, letters, mail, and applications as needed. Provide back-up support for colleagues in Hays office and fill in as needed.br / br / strongExperience, Education, Skills, and Knowledge:/strongbr / bull; Bachelorrsquo;s degree in Social Work or related field required. Masterrsquo;s degree in Social Work or another Social Services field preferred.br / bull; Clinical license to practice in Kansasbr / bull; 2+ yearsrsquo; experience providing therapeutic services and experience working with families and children. 5+ yearsrsquo; experience preferred.br / bull; Knowledge of therapeutic modalities, treatment planning, and diagnosisbr / bull; Ability to lift 25 poundsbr / bull; Demonstrate a passion for the mission of Catholic Charities.br / bull; Willingness to abide by Catholic Social Teachings as it impacts carrying out the duties of this position.br / bull; Personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and a commitment to the CCNKS mission.br / bull; Organized, efficient, reliable, and detail-oriented with strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to collaborative teamwork and continuous improvement.br / bull; Skilled at and enthusiastic about building positive, professional relationships with key internal and external stakeholders. Ability to relate to people of diverse backgrounds, training, and experience.br / bull; Excellent written and verbal communication skills.br / bull; Proficient computer skills, especially in programs like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.br / bull; Desire to problem solve, think creatively, and seek out best practices.br / br / strongTRAVEL/strongbr / This position entails occasional travel to the other Catholic Charities offices and to other communities within the Salina Diocese. These trips are generally accomplished during normal business hours Monday through Friday.
