Sponsored by: Western Kansas Therapy Associates Speaker: Josh Tanguay & Dr. Lauren Mack Topic: Supporting Employee Mental Wellness With one in five Americans currently possessing a diagnosable mental health challenge, it is critical for employers to possess some knowledge of mental health challenges, and how to support their employees when they might be struggling. This presentation will provide an introductory exploration of how to identify mental health challenges in the workplace, as well as how to decrease stigma. The presentation will also explore how to support employees’ general well-being as well as how to respond if someone is struggling. Dr. Lauren Mack, a business owner and veterinarian of 10 years will provide practical examples. Her spouse, Josh Tanguay, a practicing psychotherapist of 10 years, will provide a backdrop for these examples.
